1. Tapered roller bearings are mainly used to bear radial and axial combined loads. Compared with the angular contact ball bearing, the bearing capacity is large, the limit speed is low. Tapered roller bearings mainly bear radially oriented combined radial and axial loads. Bearing bearing capacity depends on the outer ring raceway angle, the larger the angle the greater the bearing capacity. The axial load capacity of the bearing is mostly determined by the contact angle α; the larger the α angle, the higher the axial load capacity. The size of the angle is expressed by the calculation coefficient e; the larger the value of e, the larger the contact angle, the greater the suitability of the bearing to bear axial load.
Tapered roller bearings are usually separated type, that is, the inner ring with rollers and cage assembly composed of tapered inner ring assembly can be installed separately with the tapered outer ring (outer ring).
